Birthday Reflections

One more year added to my time here on earth. I give thanks to God for all the joy, happiness, health and wealth He has granted me this past year. Through all the tribulations, I've persevered and the rewards were high and I wouldn't change anything that have passed in my life.

When I was younger, approaching the big 40 was a daunting thought but once I was in it, I didn't feel any different. My clothing might have changed, from sexy and seductive once to somewhat urban clothing nowadays but I'm still me and my life continues as if time never changed.

The only thing that really sets me back is the ticking biological clock but even that I've taken in stride. I'm contented to just be with my A for the rest of life even without the pitter patter of tiny little feet.

Yes... life is good and for that I give thanks!

It Sucks!

My Azwaj was thinking of getting another telephone line for my in-laws house so that we could get another internet connection line in. So after getting our modem and Linksys router and things, we went to TM to apply for a line.

After waiting for a good hour, our number was called. However upon checking, we found out that for the area my in-law's house is at, there is no more port open for new telephone lines which means we can't get an internet connection as well! .. And there is no indication that they are going to add any more port any time soon..Sucks right?

Not All Doctors Know What They Are Doing**

Yesterday mama feeding tube got to be changed to a new one. Since mama is bed ridden the only way to bring her to the hospital is via ambulance so instead Abah decided to call this doctor who did house call, with a nearby clinic, to come over.

The Doctor came over, cleaned mama's mouth and got rid of some secretion from mama's throat. Then she put in the tube. However, apparently she didn't do a good job as the tube was push way too inside so much so that it was not possible to feed mama. The doctor came back and reinserted the tube. This time when the SIL started to feed mama, the food came back out!

So now, Abah decided there is no way out but to call for the ambulance and bring once again to Damai Hospital to see what went wrong. Hopefully mama does not have to be readmitted :(

Another Day of No Water *

Yesterday was suppose to be our day without water. See all these pails of water?

Well.. guess what I woke up at noon yesterday and A said there was water. So we thought .. eh these guys are efficient, so fast and we have water again...

Not quite...Before we went for dinner I checked the notice board and apparently they rescheduled. .. and today would be the day :(

Arghh.. the suspense :(
