I seriously need to read more books. I can't remember the last time I actually picked up a real novel to read and if not for watching tv while at my new apartment, for lack of internet access, I would have missed a great weekly drama, Nur Kasih which is based on a novel!
I used to be bookworm. Wonder what happened to that habit? Well internet happened! Boo hoo!

One thing about moving is that sometimes when you pack certain stuff, you label them generally and at that moment of time, you think you will know what those code words means when you unpack.. so boxes end up labelled as 'vanity top" or "personal - no need to open" and then they end up not opened!
This was what happened to my perfume collection. They all ended up in a box that said "vanity drawers - do not open" and that's how they remained "not opened" for three years!
As I was moving boxes to the new apartment today, I saw this "epic" box, as GP called it, and decided to just opened it. As I was slitting the tape, I noticed a nice scent emitting out from the box and I smiled. Ah ha! I thought. This must be the box that had my perfume in it! True enough.. there it was.. in a green container nicely tucked away! So ladies and gentleman..I present my lovely perfume.. nothing much or special but I was so happy I found it so I thought I share.. lol!!

As you may or may not know.. A was a professional guitar 
player before. He was a regular sessionist at recording studios and even did back up for famous bands like... hm.. he doesn't want me to say here coz he wants to keep low profile..hehhe ...... and get this.. he was an extra in the movie "Jimmy Asmara" and there was a full 3seconds face shot of him playing his guitar as he back the band in the movie! Ahh.. my darling movie star 
Anyway.. as he was a pro guitarist before, as you may have guessed, he has lots of guitars! To the likes of Fender, Ibanez and Kramer. I always thought a guitar is a guitar, until I hear 
him talk with fellow guitarist and starts talking about "pickup" and "sounds" and what not, that makes certain guitars great for playing rock music, or jazz pieces or just plain old pop songs..
Well... so the story goes, we brought the guitars over to the new place yesterday and we had M along with us to help lug the heavy guitar cases. They each were carrying two guitars (looking like they were going for a gig or something) and there was this man in the lift with us. As the elevator door closed, this guy asked A... "Which band huh?" hahahahha... A shyly said "no band.. just hobby".. .
.. Ah if only that man knew where those guitars have been.. he'd be asking A for his autograph for sure... ;)

We just found out some sad news today. Someone that we just got to know late last year and that had helped us through some difficult things have passed away yesterday. Thank you Farah for taking time to leave me a message over at LJL.
It seemed that he just collapsed upon returning home (Taiping) from his KL trip. He was pronounced dead upon reaching the hospital.
Times like these really makes you treasure whatever times you can with the one you love. Forget about money, forget about what best diet pills to take and just concentrate on being happy and making the people around you happy as well.

I'm not sure what's wrong with me but I've been sleepy all the time lately. It irritates the hell out of me simply because I got so many things to do! Utmost concern right now is my move. Perhaps I'm just tired but I've been tired before but I never needed to sleep more than 10hours!.. Heck I even missed "chopping" on Music Monday!

I can honestly say I am not a gardening type of person but after spending some time in Abah's garden while watching A and Abah dig burial spot for two my kitties, Mufasa and Anja that passed on in April and June, I had a new appreciation of all the plants that Abah has in his garden.
Don't get me wrong, I love flowers and plants but it's just not in my nature to grow them. I'm an apartment sort of person and having potted plant is simply not me. Having said that, I saw some really nice garden planters while at Abah's garden and while surfing today found some even nicer ones online. I think it would make a great gift for Abah who has been so gracious to offer us to bury them both in his garden, don't you think?
